What began as an unwind of a significant USD overweight in January appears to be morphing into something more troubling for the USD.

Asset managers are now underweight the USD, but it has been notable in recent weeks that periods of USD stability, or even the appreciation after the de-escalation of the trade war, are still being met with sizeable USD sales.

USD bounces for now are being seen as opportunities to get underweight at better levels.
